There are many agency websites out there who give you all of the technical advice on starting your au pair journey. They tell you how much you should pay, the visas required, the contracts you should have, everything! This is not one of those sites. This site was created with the emotions in mind. What you need to consider before you go to a new country, or welcome someone into your home from another culture.

We source real stories from au pairs and families. They tell us what they wish someone would have told them before they started their au pair journey.
